Tour Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Guwahati

As you will arrive at Guwahati airport, our representative will receive you from the airport arrival lounge. The representative will assist you till your hotel check in process at Guwahati. If interested after freshen up, we will take you to a short tour of Guwahati. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02

Guwahati - Orang National Park (300 Km / 07 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast we will leave for Orang National Park. Orang is the oldest national park of Assam with an area of 78.80 Sq. Kms. Situated within the north bank of river Brahmaputra; Orang is famous for the breeding ground of more than 50 varieties of fishes. Other than fish seven species of turtles are also found here in the river and streams flowing through park. Upon arrival we will check into wildlife guest house. Overnight stay in Orang.
Day 03

Orang National Park

In the morning we will wake up little early. After morning tea, we will be ready to enjoy our safari to the Orang National Park for wildlife viewing. The safari will go through amidst the dense forests with tall trees and high grasslands. We will continue with our safari that is 01 hrs Long.

Later return to the rest house for breakfast. After breakfast we will again visit the national park, this time we will go for the vehicle safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Orang National Park is mainly famous for the one horned Rhinoceros; apart from Rhino the other wildlife found in Manas are Royal Bengal Tiger, Asiatic elephant, hog deer and wild boar. Orang National park also famous for the many of the critically endangered and endangered species Like Pygmy Hog, the Gangetic Dolphin, Indian Pangolin, Hog Deer, Rhesus Macaque, Bengal Porcupine, Indian Fox, Small Indian Civet, Otter, Leopard cat, Fishing cat and Jungle Cat etc. Apart from mammals, 222 species of birds have been recorded in Orang including a variety of migratory birds. We again explore the national park by jeep safari after lunch. Overnight stay at resort house.

Day 04

Orang National Park - Nameri National Park (100 Km / 4 Hrs)

Today, we will leave for our next wildlife destination Nameri National Park that is situated just 100 km along-side to Orang. Nameri is also located within the foothills of the eastern Himalayas. On the way to Nameri, we will stop at Tezpur for a short tour, visiting its historical ruins. Further continue drive to Nameri. Upon reaching transfer to the Nature camp. Evening free for leisure or make a visit to the nearby Pygmy Hog Foundation and learn about the species. The Pygmy Hogs are one of the world’s most endangered mammals. They are kept in a captive breeding in Guwahati and now they are kept in semi-natural conditions of Nameri before being set free into the park. Overnight stay in camp.
Day 05

Nameri National Park

This morning we will go for a fascinating river rafting on Jia Bhoroli River. For the same we will drive 25 kms from the resort towards the river upstream, from where we will enjoy the downstream rafting on the inflatable raft. Here we will have a chance to see a lot of migratory waterfowl and if you are so lucky then one can even spot the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Elephant on the banks of the river from the boat. The 13 km stretch of rafting will takes around three hours. After the river rafting return to the camp site for Lunch. After lunch we will go on a nature trail along the reserve. Here we will be accompanied with the knowledgeable forest guides and armed forest guards. The forest treks are the best way to explore the Nameri National Park as it allows you to get very close to the wildlife. Here one can spot the rare species of white-winged wood ducks and the great hornbills.
Day 06

Nameri National Park - Eaglenest (135 Km / 4 Hrs)

Today we will proceed to Eagle Nest Wildlife Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh via Tenga. On the way, we will visit Tipi Orchid Centre at Tipi. Afternoon, birding around Lama Camp and stay overnight at Lama Camp
Day 07

Eaglenest

After breakfast full day exploration to Eaglenest. Overnight Stay at Lama Camp. The Eagle’s Nest Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at an altitude that ranges between 500 to 3200 mt covering an area of 218 sq km. The sanctuary covers the area from Eagle’s nest pass to north of Khellong and from the entire slope from Lama Camp to Khellong is a prime birding area. We can enjoy a vehicle trail from Tenga to Kamengbari through Eagle’s nest pass and will have a good birding during the drive. The Eagle’s nest sanctuary has diverse vegetation ranging from lowland evergreen forest to broad-leaved forest, bamboo and conifers; in both subtropical and temperate altitudes.
Day 08

Eaglenest

After breakfast we will continue with our bird watching tour in Eagle’s nest for the second consecutive day. Eagle’s Nest is home to more than of 450 birds species. The commonly birds species find here in Eagle’s Nest are the ward’s trogon, wedge-billed and rufous-throated wren-babblers, rufous-necked, great and wreathed hornbills, black-necked crane, beautiful nuthatch, emerald cuckoo are standard fare in this area. Other specialties which can be seen with some effort are three tragopans, blood pheasant, monal, ibisbill, purple cochoa, long-tailed and collared broadbills, blue-naped pitta, vivid niltava, long-billed plover and black-headed shrike-babbler. Etc.

Day 09

Eaglenest

Today, we will start our day a little early and go on a birding trip with packed breakfast. Overnight Stay at Lama Camp.
Day 10

Eaglenest - Pakke Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast we will leave for Pakke Wildlife sanctuary. En-route we will stop at various bird-watching locations for birding. Upon arrival at the sanctuary check into the forest rest house. In the evening, we will go around the rest house for our birding in Pakke. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 11

Pakke Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast full day exploration at Pakke. Overnight Stay at forest rest house. The Pakke wildlife sanctuary is situated at an altitude ranges between 100 to 2000 mt covering an area of 862 sq km. walking inside the park is permitted only with a forest guard. The vehicle track in the Pakke is between Khari and Seijusa only rest of the other birding areas will be covered by foot or on an Elephant. We can also enjoy a very good birding around the areas in woodlands of forests department complex which are located at Sejusa and Khari. The avifauna found in Pakke are leschenault’s forktail, lesser necklaced laughing-thrush, jerdon’s baza, silver-eared Mesia, pied falconet, collared and long-tailed broadbills, wreathed and great hornbills, white-cheeked hill-partridge, grey peacock-pheasant, elwe’s crake, ibisbill, emerald cuckoo, red-headed trogon, green-pigeon, forest eagle-owl, blue-naped pitta, lesser shortwing, white-browed shortwing, daurian redstart, white-bellied yuhina, yellow-bellied flycatcher-warbler, sultan tit, ruby-cheeked sunbird, maroon oriole, crow-billed drongo etc.
Day 12

Pakke Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast we will continue with our bird watching tour in Eagle’s nest for the second consecutive day. Overnight Stay at Lama Camp.
Day 13

Pakke Wildlife Sanctuary - Tezpur

In the morning, we will have short birding trip around the accommodation followed by a driver to Tezpur. Upon arrival check into the hotel. In the evening have a short tour around the city to view its ruins. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 14

Tezpur - Kaziranga National Park

Today we will leave for one of the most beautiful wildlife destination and the UNESCO world Heritage site, famous for the highest number for One Horned Rhino in the world – Kaziranga National Park. Upon reaching Kaziranga transfer to the wildlife resort.

After freshen up, one can go on a guided tour through the forest near your accommodation along the river bank. Also visit the tea garden and rubber plantation. Later return to the resort for overnight stay.

Day 15

Kaziranga National Park

Today, wake up little early and get ready to explore the forest. Our representative will take you to the riding point by jeeps. Here we will be moving through the tall grass while the morning mists slowly lift is an experience that one won’t forget easily. The wildlife safari is best mean for viewing wildlife as the wild animals are not afraid of the themselves and possible we can have the glance of them from the very close.

We will return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast we will go on our first Jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing in the central zone. Later return to the resort for taking some rest and spent the time till lunch. After lunch we will go on our second jeep safari of the day, this time we will visit the Western zone of the national park. One can also spent some time at the Donga view point, situated in western zone. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 16

Kaziranga

Today we will go on full day birding trip to the western zone of the national park. Stoppage at several watch towers during the safari. Kaziranga National Park is a paradise for bird-lovers with having more than 500 species of birds.

The common sighted avifauna of Kaziranga are Swamp Francolin, Pale-capped Pigeon, Bengal Florican, Great and Wreathed Hornbill, Jerdon’s Baza, Slender-billed Vulture, Pallas’s Fishing Eagle, Greater Spotted Eagle, Imperial Eagle, Pied Harrier, Pied Falconet, Oriental Hobby, Black-necked Stork, Greater Adjutant, Hodgson’s Bushchat, White-vented Myna, Rufous-vented Prinia, Marsh Babbler, Jerdon’s Babbler, Black-breasted Parrot-bill and Finn’s Weaver etc. Evening return to the resort. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 17

Kaziranga

We will wake little early in the morning and move to the Burapahar Range of the national park with packed breakfast. We will drive from our resort to the nearest place from where we will start our trekking or walk inside the Burapahar range of the National Park.

Our track will start from Pani Juri Camp with a naturalist and forest guards, from here we will walk up to the banks of River Brahmaputra. We will go through the midst of the Woodland and visit Burapahar famous for trekking. During trekking, we will be able to see a lot of wildlife like Capped Langurs, Elephants and the Great Indian Hornbill and Hoolock Gibbon. After the hours of trekking we will return to Pani Juri camp and then drive back to the resort for Lunch.

Post lunch we will again go for a Jeep Safari inside the central range of the Kaziranga National Park to increase our chances of more wildlife sighting. Later return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 18

Kaziranga

Today we will explore the Eastern Range of the National Park by Jeep safari. The eastern range of Kaziranga known as Agoratoli consists mostly of woodland and is famous for its wide variety of Birds. It is home to a variety of migratory birds and is also known to have large population of Wild Elephants. During our exploration in Agoratoli, we will visit the Shola water body and here one can stop for sometimes at Shohola Tower to view the birdlife and other animals. This will be the last stoppage of our Jeep safari in Eastern range. Later we will return to the resort for lunch.

After lunch we will again explore the central range of the national with visiting few of its watch tower namely Kathpora Tower, Daflang Tower and Kerasing Tower. Later return to the resort.

In the evening time, one can also visit the nearby local village to see their way of life & livelihood. Overnight stay at wildlife resort.

Day 19

Kaziranga

Today, we will go for a full day birding tour to the other parts near Kaziranga National park – the Garam Pani Wildlife sanctuary. This sanctuary is the oldest Sanctuary containing hot water springs and Waterfalls and surrounded by other sanctuary named Nambor Sanctuary. The sanctuary includes 51 rare species of Orchid. Here we will able to see birds like The Great pied Hornbill, Hill myna and many more. Apart from Birds, we will also see mammals like the Tiger, Elephant, Gaur, Bear, Sambar, Barking deer, Rhesus macaque, Hoolock gibbon, Wild pig etc. Later in the evening return to the resort. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 20

Kaziranga - Guwahati - Departure

After a sumptuous breakfast at the resort, we will leave for Guwahati. Upon reaching at Guwahati, we will transfer you to the airport to catch a connecting flight for your onward journey.
